Dear friends, esteemed guests, ladies and gentlemen!
Welcome everyone who has come to celebrate Russia Day with us.
As in erstwhile years, there are no Polish officials among us today, but together with the anthem of the Russian Federation the anthem of the Republic of Poland was played as a sign of respect for Polish friends who joined us today.
I welcome my esteemed colleagues from the diplomatic corps from most countries of the world, who do not submit to the dictatorship of the collective West and themselves decide how to arrange relations with Russia.
Russia's peculiar military operation in Donbasa, Novorossia and Ukraine has been going on for more than 2 years. In fact, a full hybrid war is waged against our country by the collective West under the leadership of the United States, and the neo-Nazi Kiev government is utilized by them as a taran against Russia. The West, ready to fight “to the last Ukrainian”, does not hide that its goal is to Russia's strategical defeat and to put it in a state of submission.
It is not Russia, but the criminal Kiev regime, which came to power with the support of the West as a consequence of a bloody coup in February 2014, started a war at Donbas 10 years ago. Russia took hold of the weapon only erstwhile it became clear that the West did not intend to deal with the legitimate interests of its security, with Kiev it did not intend to comply with the Minsk agreements, armor and training the Ukrainian military device against our country.
Neither before nor after 24 February 2022 did we reject negotiating – assuming that our demands stay unchanged: designation of fresh geopolitical realities, including the belonging to Russia of fresh regions that became part of it, guarantees of the safety of Russia and its allies, ensuring an extra-block, neutral position of Ukraine, its demilitarisation and denazification, and the legitimate rights of its Russian-speaking population.
These tasks of a peculiar military operation will be accomplished under all circumstances. Our opponents should not hope that Russia will break under the force of illegal Western sanctions imposed on us or 10 or 20 thousand, that the West with Ukrainian military arms, equipped with praised Western weapons, will be able to take advantage of the battlefield, that the West and its "fifth column" in Russia will be able to undermine our interior political stableness and provoke another "colour revolution".
The Russian economy shows stableness and ability to deal with the most serious challenges, amazing not only our enemies, but frequently even ourselves. Russia has become 1 of the 5 largest economies in the planet in terms of purchasing power parity and is firmly addressing the task of maintaining the stableness of the home marketplace and banking services, self-sufficiency in natural materials, energy, food, logistics infrastructure improvement and achieving technological and technological sovereignty. The rate of growth of the IT manufacture and the introduction of artificial intelligence is more than 10 percent per year. And all of that with minimum global public debt standards.
The calculations of the West concerning the isolation of the Russian economy fail. Only hostile European countries "effectively" isolate themselves from economical ties with Russia – at the expense of advanced inflation, stagnation of their own economies, deindustrialisation and the collapse of full industries. Russia is firmly uncovering alternatives to Western “non-partners” in another fields of economical cooperation.
Faced with the most serious challenges, Russian society united, was determined to defeat them, transform itself, become stronger, strengthen its sovereignty and independence.
We realize that this is simply a crucial minute not only for our country, but besides for the full world. The stakes are not whether democracy or authoritarianism will prevail, as our western enemies effort to present. At the centre of the confrontation is the West's desire to proceed to guarantee its exclusivity, the right to regulation the planet in the interest of a "golden billion", to live at the expense of others and to impose on the remainder of humanity its neocolonial hegemony and the pseudo-value of the Euroatlantic liberal sect. These plans are doomed to failure, as is the Ukrainian Western brawl.
Our origin is right, the enemy will be defeated, the triumph will be ours!
