Although the amounts are tempting, not all employer is required to pay this benefit. Who can number on a vacation allowance? The employer's position is crucial
The basic criterion for obtaining a vacation allowance is the form of employment and the size of the company. The benefit is granted only to persons employed on the basis of employment contracts, regardless of the work placement or the size of the job. However, it is crucial that the employer leads Institutional Social Benefits Fund (ZFŚS).
The work to make ZFŚS has companies that employment at 1 January of a given year at least 50 employees in full-time terms. Smaller companies, employing between 20 and 49 employees, can make a fund voluntarily if requested by the trade union organisation.
