Polish ammunition plants, which will produce missiles for the Chunmoo (Homar-K) system, are to be created by 2029 as part of a joint venture between the Polish WB Group and the Korean company Hanwha Aerospace – said WB Group president Piotr Wojciechowski at a gathering with journalists at the company's office in Warsaw. This agreement was formally signed at the KADEX (Korea Army global defence manufacture Exhibition) on October 2, 2024. The full investment is to be realised from WB's own resources but with a ‘significant Korean contribution’. Bilateral negotiations are presently underway to yet establish the form of common cooperation between the parties. Their completion is planned for June or July 2025.
