American military close the Panama Canal

Panama will let the deployment of U.S. troops in areas close to the Panama Canal and in its neighbourhood - stated the AFP agency, quoting the agreement published on Thursday between the US and Panama governments. However, the agreement excludes the anticipation of placing military bases there.
