Americans will deliver weapons to the “Azov” brigade

Leahy's law prohibits the United States from providing military assistance to abroad entities who are suspected of serious human rights violations. The name of the legislative act comes from the name of erstwhile Senator Patrick J. Leahy, who was its author. The State Department found no evidence of specified hazard from the Ukrainian brigade.
