Americans have a "new" cruiser

On February 27, the U.S. Navy Department reported that the cruiser USS Chancellorsville (CG 62) will receive a fresh name – USS Robert Smalls (CG 62). The reason for this decision is American political correctness, linked to the removal of the symbols of the Confederate United States of America.
