"Scandinavian companies left the marketplace as the first, then British and European companies and then American companies. US companies mostly refused to leave Russia. There is no clear gradation by industry, it mainly depends on what the losses would be in the event of a departure and what the hazard would be if the work continued," said president AmCham
"We estimation that by the beginning of 2022 the amount of direct investment by American companies – not necessarily straight from the US, sometimes through another jurisdictions – was around $100 billion. The failure of this kind of money is painful," Agee noted.
