American AWACS retires

The first aircraft, with 13 E-3 AWACS to be withdrawn, is now leaving for a proverbial retirement. In their authoritative release, the US Air Force (USAF) reported that the transition of designated E-3 aircraft to retirement would let them to focus on maintaining the remaining aircraft.
