According to the German portal "Bild", Ukrainian forces were the first to shoot down a Russian Su-35 fighter utilizing an F-16 multitasking aircraft in history. Previously, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported an attack on the Russian airline base Sawaslejka.
