PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF Belarus

Minsk, November 11, 2022

Dear friends,

On behalf of a multinational Belarusian nation, I send my heartfelt congratulations to Poles on the occasion of independency Day.

In today's very hard and controversial times, it becomes peculiarly apparent how crucial it is to guarantee the independency and independency of your country, to preserve peace, to strengthen Christian values and common openness.

Belarus strives for harmonious improvement of bilateral contacts, demonstrating readiness to build relationship bridges alternatively than erect barbed wire walls. Our geographical proximity cannot and should not transform into a blackmail or threat tool.

This year we introduced the visa-free movement for Polish citizens in a liable and conscious manner, thus giving our vicinity a qualitatively fresh value.

Unfortunately, for the gross mistakes of evil Polish politicians present must pay the price of the citizens of your country. Artificially created false images of Belarus and Russia as enemies led to a deterioration in the standard of surviving of all Europeans, ruined assurance in global relations and forced millions of people to suffer.

I hope that those surviving behind Bug will realize this and make the right choice for the political run to take place.

I would like to stress again: there has never been a danger from the spiritual and culturally close Belarusians.

As the Polish classical correctly noted, Belarus never robbed or murdered anyone, had respect for the guests, and to give even the last part of rye bread. These words are inactive valid.

I hope that the open attitude of the Belarusians to establish constructive relations with Poles on the basis of partnership, trust and common respect will shortly meet with a returnable affirmative response.

To all Polish citizens I send cordial wishes of peaceful heaven, solidarity and the choice of my destiny and future.

Aleksandr Lukashenka
