State of the Left in Poland
The conversation with Alexander Kwasniewski afraid the future of the fresh Left. Kwasniewski noted that the Left was experiencing ups and downs, and while there is simply a left-wing electorate in Poland, the organization lost many voters in fresh elections.
In his opinion, changes in leadership may not be sufficient, and it may be essential to rethink the programme offer. He is not certain whether it is worth discussing before the European elections or better to wait. He pointed out that the current leader, Vladimir Czarzasty, had his supporters, as did Leszek Miller, who in the past had besides been criticized, but held up his position. Kwasniewski believes that the most crucial is to realize the causes of weaker results of the party, and changing the leader may not bring the expected results.
