Bottom Line

Air India Express positions itself as a value-driven airline with a focus on passenger comfort. Travellers can enjoy hot ‘Gourmair’ meals, comfortable seating, and flexible fare options. The airline also operates ‘Xpress Holidays’, a platform for curated travel packages covering flights, hotels, and activities.

Every aircraft in the fleet features a unique livery under the Tales of India initiative, celebrating India’s cultural heritage. These designs draw from regional art forms such as Gujarat’s Bandhani, Punjab’s Phulkari, and Uttarakhand’s sacred Aipan motifs.

A Tata Group enterprise and a subsidiary of Air India (AI), Air India Express operates over 500 daily flights to 41 domestic and 17 international airports. Its growing fleet of 116 aircraft — 76 Boeing 737s and 40 Airbus A320s — enables the airline to continue expanding its network while offering competitive fares and a warm, distinctly Indian travel experience.
