As TVN24 and “Superwizjera” journalists have agreed, prosecutors dealing with the private college of Collegium Humanum are working on a proposal to waive the immunity of Polish 2050 leaders Szymon Holownia and Michał Koboski.
On Tuesday, Holownia was asked how he would respond if specified a request were made to the Sejm. erstwhile again, he emphasized that he had never graduated from Collegium Humanum, did not bear any costs and did not attend classes.
I truly would should be an idiot if I had to be an idiot in a situation where everywhere and everyone else said that I had advanced school education, boasted about it, and prideed myself on it, and abruptly I'd be making a diploma, changing my status, and I'd be legitimizing my higher education. I mean, they'd all get on that master's exam immediately. said Simon Holovnia.
Referring to a possible motion to waive immunity, he stated that the full case seemed vague to him and raised doubts. He besides suggested that the prosecution's actions could be politically motivated and related to persons associated with the Law and Justice, including prosecutor Tomasz Tadla, whom he accused of creating papers in this case.
Unrealised plans
Hołownia admitted that he had submitted application papers to the university and may have signed the acceptance formalities, but, as he stressed, he had never actually started studying there.
I filed receipts, applications, most likely signed any kind of impatriculation. But I didn't survey there, I didn't pay any money, I didn't date anyone, I didn't have any presence in any classes, I didn't pay anyone for anything, I never met the Rector of this college – explained the politician.
The Collegium Humanum
The investigation of the Collegium Humanum revealed that the university was to issue false MBA diplomas and postgraduate and master's degree certificates.
According to the prosecutor's office, erstwhile Rector Paul C., along with others, repeatedly accepted property and individual benefits in exchange for issuing papers confirming the untruth. The procedure was to be possible through the cooperation of the university authorities, its staff and another persons, including those in public office.
