China will impose additional duties on certain US products starting on 10 February, informed the Customs Tariff Commission of the Council of the State.An additional 15% work will be imposed on imported coal and liquefied natural gas originating in the United States, as stated by the committee.Oil, agricultural machinery, advanced capacity cars and pickup trucks will be subject to an additional tariff of 10 percent.

This decision aims to defend the legitimate rights and interests of China, said the spokesperson for the Ministry of Trade in consequence to media questions. The US's imposition of additional duties on Chinese products seriously violated WTO rules, and this scandalous act is typical of uniteraryism and trade protectionism," said the spokesperson.
China decided to add 2 US companies, namely PVH Corp. and Illumina, Inc., to the list of undesirable entities in this country. Both parties violated average marketplace trade rules, terminated regular trade with Chinese companies and adopted discriminatory measures against Chinese companies, seriously harming their legitimate rights and interests, as stated in a message issued on Tuesday by the Ministry of Trade.
The decision was taken to keep national sovereignty, safety and improvement interests and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
According to the statement, the mechanics of the list of unreliable entities will take appropriate action against the abovementioned entities on the basis of applicable laws and regulations.
