We yet got there. Changes in law, long ago announced by 1 of the most prominent representatives of the party-registrar, and 1 of the most outstanding intellects of our time – Stanisław Żaryn, yet saw the light of day.
In the draft of amendments to the penal code submitted to Laska Marszałkowska by PiS MPs, the punishment is to be misinformation in connection with spy activities. The task indicates that there is “the dissemination of false or misleading information aimed at causing serious disturbances in the strategy or economy of the Republic of Poland, another country or global organisation”.
Thus, no more spitting through vile Russians on our eternal ally – the most holy Ukraine. No more questioning the apparent truths given by the party-mothers and journalists of legitimate media. No more wreaking defetism by irresponsiblely asking foolish questions.
This is evidently a large step forward. However, the step is highly unsatisfactory. For it is not adequate to put peaceful instigators into the target. It's not adequate to close your mouth to the sowers of defeatism. There are also pests: ridiculers. Even more harmful than the above.
In consequence to this problem, and in order to relieve a small bit of the titanic effort that the representatives of the beloved Law and Justice put in their regulation in their homeland, I prepared an authorial bill. It is closely modelled on another legal act: Act of 7 April 1938 on the protection of the name of Józef Piłsudski, First Marshal of Poland. To my work I gave a somewhat different, though I will admit – highly catchy, title: Act on the protection of the name of the holy memory of Lech Kaczyński – First Real president of Poland and his invincible brother Jarosław, president of All Poles. This is an innovative part of legislation, the adoption of which will make us jealous not only of Germany and the French (which we have already utilized to) but besides of countries specified as Zimbabwe and North Korea.
The bill is short, so I will quote it in full:
Art. 1 The memory of the act and merit of the sacred memory of Lech Kaczyński – the First Real president of Poland and his invincible brother Jarosław, president of all Poles, Resurrectors of independency of Homeland and National Educators – for all time he belongs to the treasury of the national spirit and remains under peculiar protection of the law.
Art. 2 Who denies the name of the sacred memory of Lech Kaczyński – the First Real president of Poland and his invincible brother Jarosław, president of All Poles, is subject to the death penalty.
Article 3 Implementation of this Act is delegated to the Minister of State Acts*.
Article 4 of this Act shall enter into force on the date of publication.
I believe that my humble contribution to the rich and so outstanding legislative acquis, which we owe to our beloved parent party. I besides hope that the fresh bill will yet shut the mouth of all those who mock the unquestionable works of our Providence Husbands.
Przemysław Piasta
In the first was the Minister of Justice. However, I am not convinced that the current head of this ministry has the sacred memory of Lech Kaczyński – the First Real president of Poland and his invincible brother Jarosław, the president of All Poles, adequate reverence. Although I do not uncertainty that he would be happy to take the chance to apply the sanctions set out in the second Act.
