The aim of the spy activities was to mark the countries of the European Union and their institutions. During the operation of the ABW, EUR 48,5 1000 and $36,000 were secured – Dobrzyński said. In addition, he pointed out that, in addition to searching places, there were first hearings of persons active in the case, and that further procedural proceedings were planned in the following days.
Olsztyn branch of the ABW Delegation in Białystok conducts preparatory proceedings, which is supervised by the Warsaw Mazowiecki Department of the Department of Organised Crime and Corruption of the National Public Prosecutor's Office.
The Press Office of the National Prosecutor's Office confirmed that the activities of the ABW commissioned by the D.A., as part of an investigation into the organisation of operations affecting EU countries and institutions, took place on Wednesday, 27 March.
Dobrzyński noted that the activities carried out were the consequence of global cooperation between the ABW and various European services, in peculiar with colleagues from the Czech Republic.
"In effect, actions to organise pro-Russian media initiatives and campaigns in EU countries have been documented. The aim was to implement the principles of the Kremlin's abroad policy, including the weakening of Poland's global position, the discredit of Ukraine and the image of European Union bodies," he explained.

In pursuit of these objectives, the net portal of global scope – voice-of-europe.eu, which publishes articles, statements, comments or interviews about the biased, pro-Russian speech related to the current global situation, including the war waged by Russia against Ukraine, was launched.
It is added that the agencies have established a method of financing the activities described, and in addition to these funds, many electronic devices have been confiscated, including mobile phones.
The National Prosecutor's Office reported that the activities of the interior safety Agency are linked to a completed branch of the National Prosecutor's Office, in which on January 19, the prosecutor filed charges against a Polish citizen, accusing him of spying on Russian peculiar services.
"The suspect acted in the environment of Polish and European parliamentarians, carrying out tasks financed by his co-workers in Russian intelligence, consisting of propaganda, disinformation, political provocations, or building Russian spheres of influence" - reminded the PK press department.
On Wednesday, it was announced that the Czech civilian Counterintelligence Agency – Information safety Service (BIS) – had discovered a network organized by the Russians that tried to influence the elections to the European Parliament. According to information provided by the Czech media, the exposed network acted to influence politicians in six countries: Poland, Hungary, Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
BIS stressed that it was able to detect and map the Russian-funded impact network in the Czech Republic. "The BIS operation has revealed how Russia is influencing the European Union and how it is trying to influence the political processes in our countries" has been announced on the agency's authoritative profile on the X platform.
Following a gathering of the government on Wednesday, attended by the head of BIS Michal Koudelka, Prime Minister Petr Fiala stated that after receiving information from the services, the government had decided to include 2 people and 1 company on the Czech sanction list. The Prime Minister has not disclosed the details of this issue.
Czech sanctions were imposed on Viktor Medwedczuk and Artiom Marczewski, Ukrainian entrepreneurs and politicians closely associated with the Kremlin. The sanction list besides included Voice of Europe, utilized by Medwedczuk, registered in the Czech Republic as a Polish citizen. No further details are given.
The decision to be included in the sanctioning list was justified by ‘promoting the interests of the Russian Federation's abroad policy and political and propaganda actions against territorial integrity, independence, stableness and safety of Ukraine’.
According to the information obtained by the editors of the Denik N portal from sources oriented on the issue, in Prague money was transferred to anti-system politicians of the German AfD. Payments were besides to be directed to politicians from another European countries. No further details were disclosed, however, sources propose that in addition to Germany this was besides actual of France, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Hungary.
The company listed on the sanction list was frozen assets and no assets were transferred abroad. Despite this, its activity in the Czech Republic has not been formally banned.
