The Abrams and Leopard tanks will change the war in Ukraine? [SPEAKING DEFENCE24]

"You gotta anticipate a classical break on any front sections. Armoured units, which are created by Ukrainians based on Western equipment, structure and tactics, will search a maneuverable solution to the deadlock on the front." – says Colonel Dr. hab. Jacek Lasota from the Institute of strategy of the Academy of War Art in an interview with editor Juliusz Sabak, concerning the usage of Abrams and Leopard 2 tanks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He explains: “When I say deadlock, I mean that it is simply a solid, unchangeable front... If we're looking at operations and tactics, then the defence lines are very long and the positions are extended deeper. The scenery that remains on the line of direct clash resembles what we saw in the conflict of Ypres, Somma or Verdun. The scene is lunar."
