Judge Krzysztof Rączka was born in 1953 in Warsaw, in 1976 he began work at the Department of Labour Law and Social Policy Department of the University of Warsaw, obtained his doctorate in 1983, habilitation in 1995.
From 1979 to 1990, he was a associate of the Polish United Workers' Party. Since 1984, he worked on the Legislative Council with the Prime Minister. Until 1993, he was secretary of the Labour and Social Insurance Law Group and civilian Law Group.
He was appointed to the ultimate Court by president Andrzej Duda on 17 August 2016. As of July 28, 2025, retired.
