Left is no longer the voice of women in Poland? Or was it never? The election results clearly show that women are more willing to vote for centre-left or left-wing candidates than men, while they themselves choose centre-right or right-wing candidates. However, this does not mean that women do not support right-wing candidates at all. On the contrary – yesterday's elections showed that more women supported Sławomir Mentzen and Grzegorz Braun than Magdalena Biejat, Adrian Zandberg and Joanna Senyszyn.

How did the women vote on Sunday? The most of them were definitely supported by Rafał Trzaskowski. 33.8% of electoral candidates were elected. small little support among the ladies was noted by Karol Nawrocki – 30.3%. So no of them clearly beat out as “the voice of Polish women”.

For this, left-wing parties and left-wing candidates love to appear, who devote much of their postulates to women. This is primarily Magdalena Biejat, Adrian Zandberg and Joanna Senyszyn, who postulate, among others, wide access to abortion. However, as it turns out, this is not the most crucial issue for Poles, due to the fact that looking at the results of the I tour, the mentioned candidates were only... behind Sławomir Mentzen and Grzegorz Braun.

What may be surprising, the support of these 2 are not driven only by men, although they are mostly Mentzen and Braun's electorates. However, partial results show that hundreds of thousands of women besides voted for them.

More women supported Mentzen and Braun than Zandberg, Biejat and Senyszyn

Mentzen was supported by 10.4% of Poles and Braun was supported by 5.1%. The combined support of women for these 2 right-wing candidates is so 15.5%. For comparison – Magdalena Biejat (5.5%), Adrian Zandberg (6%) and Joanna Senyszyn (1.4%) won only 12.9 percent of the votes.

Excluding candidates who did not exceed 1 percent of the support and Krzysztof Stanowski, whose views were hard to classify, the centre-right and right block (Nawrocks, Mentzen, Braun) supported a full of 45.8% of Poles, while the centre-left and left block (Trzaskowski, Biejat, Zandberg, Senyszyn, Hołownia) supported 52 percent.

Men little frequently than women supported Karol Nawrocki (27.9%), but among them he had more support than Rafał Trzaskowski (27.4%). Sławomir Mentzen (0.9 percent) is simply a small little fond of Polish men. The vote for Braun was 7.5 percent. They were further: Simon Hołownia (4.4%), Adrian Zandberg (4.3%), Magdalena Biejat (2.4%) and Joanna Senyszyn (1.3%).

For men, the centre-right and right-right block received a full of 56.3 percent support, while the centre-left and left-left block received 39.8% support.
