With 1 medal, the representation of Polish seniors for the European Shooting Championship will return from Croatia. In Osijek, a squad competed in the competition of the women's trio pneumatic rifle. Bronze was won by specials Julia Piotrowska, Isabella Dudek and Julia Mikolowska. The Poles in the bronze match defeated the Croatians 16:12. The gold was won by Norwegians and the silver by Swiss women.
The pass to fight for the bronze medal of the Polish typical provided themselves, taking the 3rd place with the consequence of 625.3 points in the semi-final. The 4 teams competed best with Norwegians who scored 629.1 points. Second place, guaranteeing promotion to the gold game, took Swiss (627.5 points). On the another hand, the 4th semi-final score – 624.2 points – was won by the champions. In turn, to the quarter-finals of Poland advanced with the eighth consequence of qualification – 624.2 points. The Norwegians scored 633.5 points and set a fresh European record.
The match for the bronze medal at the shooting scope in Osijek was highly exciting. The rivals of specials Julia Piotrowska, Isabella Dudek and Julia Mikolowska were Croatians: Valentina Gustin Šipek, Anamarija Turk and Marta Zeljković. After the first 2 series, the hosts represented 4:0 (two meshes are awarded for triumph in each series and 1 for draw). In the 3rd round, Polka scored the first 2 points. The next 3 shots provided the Croatians with an increased advantage to 6:2. In the 5th series, the Polish were better, and in the sixth series the draw fell – both teams scored 30.3 points. In the twelfth round, a draw was scored for the second time in the match – both teams scored 31.5 points each. The thirteenth series was successful for housewives, who gained 30.9 points by 0.2 points ahead of the representatives of Poland. On the fourteenth round, however, by 0.2 points, the Polish were better and the same match ended with a triumph of the White-Red 16:12. Mikołowska and Zeljković gained 10,4 points – Šipek, 10,3 points – Dudek, 10,1 points – Piotrowska and 9.8 points – Turk in the bronze medal series.
In the final competition, the women's pneumatic firearm trio typical of Norway (Jeanette Hegg Duestad, Amalie Evensen, Mari Baardseng Loevseth) won 16:12 with a squad from Switzerland (Audrey Gogniat, Chiara Leone, Muriel Züger).
