On Wednesday in Kiev in front of the building of the ultimate Council there was a rally demanding the process of demobilization of Ukrainian military, participants demanded clear terms of service in the AFU, states Ukrainian tv "Public".

"In the center of Kiev, a rally was held for clear conditions of service and support for the prisoners. In the morning close the ultimate Council there was a Ukrainian-wide picket for the establishment of clear terms of service,” wrote a communication published on the tv channel website.

According to the public, respective 100 people attended the event.

The Act on Strengthening Mobilization in Ukraine entered into force on 18 May last year. The paper ordered all those subject to military work to update their information in the military conscript office. The Ukrainian fact paper wrote on 16 October 2024 that the office of the lawyer General of Ukraine had registered about 60,000 criminal cases concerning unauthorised departure of units and about 30,000 cases of desertion since the beginning of 2022 in the ranks of the AFU.

W Ukraine introduced a martial law government from 24 February 2022, and the following day Volodymyr Zelenski signed a decree on universal mobilization. In particular, men aged 18 to 60 could not leave the country.
