Common space, common objectives
The SUP office in Warsaw now operates at the Leviathan Confederation's headquarters. The beginning ceremony, held on 30 May 2025, brought together representatives of both organisations, including Maciej Witucki, president of the Confederate Leviathan, manager General Margaret of the Dark-Horne, Executive manager of the SUP Caterina Glazkova and Andrzej Rudka, headed the cooperation squad with Ukraine in Leviathan.
This beginning is simply a continuation of joint actions initiated in September 2024, erstwhile a memorandum of cooperation with the SUP was signed in Kiev. The SUP office in Brussels was besides opened in April 2025 – besides in the space provided by the Delegation of the Leviathan Confederation. Now it's time for Warsaw.
Poland, and the Confederation of Leviathan in particular, has long experience of entering and operating in European structures. We are ready to share it with our Ukrainian friends – he stressed Maciej Witucki, president of the Confederate Leviathan.
Digitalisation, telecommunications, the future
On the same day, a gathering was held at the office of Leviathan on cooperation in the digital and telecommunications sectors. Representatives of the SUP presented, among others, the challenges of the Ukrainian marketplace and the current state of play on the implementation of the "Roam Like at Home" programme. It was stressed that this model, albeit beneficial to consumers, poses a challenge to the profitability of Ukrainian operators due to low home prices and advanced data package requirements.
The second part of the talks focused on the improvement of the IT sector in Ukraine. Despite hard war conditions, the Ukrainian digital manufacture is resilient and innovative, and its ambition is full integration with EU regulations and standards. The possibilities of financing the improvement of this sector from global sources – from USAID programmes, by Estonian government initiatives, to support offered by Polish financial institutions and VC funds were discussed.
The SUP besides expressed its desire to step up cooperation with European organisations specified as Business Europe in order to participate more actively in the improvement of digital and defence regulation.
Participants agreed on the request to proceed cyclical meetings in the Confederation of Leviathan, as a forum for exchanging experiences and building partnerships between entrepreneurs from Poland and Ukraine.
