Donald Trump has a chance to win
Dodik has led the Serbian Republic since 2006. From the beginning, he questions the unity of the state and frequently praises his independency plans. akin to what he now announced before Trump's run in 2016. Despite winning, Dodik's plans changed due to deficiency of support from another politicians. Will it happen this time?
"When Donald Trump won America, I was going to declare independency of the Serbian Republic," Dodik said in an interview with tv Prva. “Then any around me got frightened and I didn’t. I gotta say, present I regret it. But if Trump had won again, I think I would not hesitate.”
Donald Trump has a chance to win next year's election. His position in American society is strengthened and current polls indicate that a controversial president may return to the White House. According to a poll conducted by Emerson College, more people in the United States would vote for erstwhile president Donald Trump than the current country leader Joe Biden. Trump would gain 47% of voters' vote, and Biden would gain 46%. 7% of respondents were indecisive.
Dodik subject to sanctions
Milorad Dodik, Geljka Cvijanović, a associate of the three-member Bureau of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and another key officials of the Serbian Republic, were sanctioned by the US. The reason is their threat to breach the agreement defining the sovereignty of the country. Additionally, in April 2022, Milorad Dodik was placed on the British sanction list for “strong attempts to undermine the rightfulness and functioning of the State of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
Trump did not make a message about Dodik's announcements and announced whether he would support the country's independence.
