Both electoral staffs expressed their willingness to participate in the tv presidential debate between Karol Nawrocki and Rafał Trzaskowski. If nothing peculiar happens, the skirmish in Konski will begin at 8 p.m.
The participation of Karol Nawrocki was unknown. However, his staff felt it was worth debating with Trzaskowski even without the participation of right-wing television: the Republic and Poland24. It is worth noting that besides Trzaskowski will not have easy, due to the fact that Konskie is simply a place powerfully associated with PiS. The Kaczyński organization is very strong in the city, it regularly organizes its events and congresses here. However, the debate is to be television, without the participation of the audience.
Challenge accepted
On Tuesday 9 April, Rafał Trzaskowski published a direct proposal on platform X: "Friday. 11 April. 8:00. Honest rules, the biggest TV. I'm waiting. Courage, Mr. Nawrocki."
Karol Nawrocki responded a fewer hours later. "Mr Rafale Trzaskowski, I am glad that a fewer hours of military training led you to male decisions. For weeks I have been calling on you to debate, I have waited," he wrote.
However, he put the condition: "I have only one: all televisions are to participate, including those that cannot ask you questions at conferences. Let the details of the staff work out."
And that's where the dog was buried. Nawrocki's staff had many ideas: a public debate on the market, inviting niche right-wing television.
