“Are you behind children's free zones?” was the question in a survey directed at the viewers of the TVN’s “Question for Breakfast” programme. The probe was accompanied by a discussion on whether Poles are “children phobes” and want to make places in a public space that cannot be entered with the youngest.
The TVN's breakfast question programme discusses the anticipation of creating places where children will not be allowed to stay. However, it is not about places full designed for adults specified as pubs, discos, nightclubs or another specified places. The speakers talked about public utility places where children could be freed. All to make adults feel more comfortable (sic!). During the program there was besides a survey in which the viewers of the program voted. Her results are shocking.
In the conversation led by Marcin Prokop and Dorothy Wellmann from TVN, “experts” and authors of books took part. 1 example to start any discussion on “without children” space is aircraft. We talked about whether or not a child-free region could be created on board an aircraft, as tiny children usually make sound or interfere with adults in the course of a flight, e.g. by yelling or kicking into the chair in front of them.
Agnieszka Grabowska is 1 of the supporters of creating a “zone without children”. In his argument, he points out that children in certain peculiar places are obstructing adults, so it is reasonable to make designated zones where children will not be allowed. Grabowska claims that people who do not have children and who want to remainder in a hotel or on vacation can find a household with troublesome children. The interviewer adds that “going on vacation where they want to remainder and going to a hotel that is full of happy families with children” will not be comfortable.
Andrzej Tarkowski-Kiliszewski, who claims that children are burdensome in any situations, is of akin opinion. “I am in favour of having these adult areas without children, although I deal with children myself all day due to the fact that I am a teacher. However, for example, erstwhile I go to a better restaurant, I pay more to have peace, to have a better dinner, to have dinner, and in the background there is simply a badger and frequently parents do not actually watch their children. I have nothing against children, but erstwhile there are these screams, it is chaos, but it is exhausting," the guest said.
During the issue of “Questions for breakfast”, the audience was asked, “Are you behind children's free zones?” Surprisingly, 83 percent of the programme's audience voted for the creation of a “child-free zone”. Only 17% of TVN viewers were against this idea.
"Did it turn out that Poles hatred children? – the results of the survey were garnered by 1 of the participants of the discussion, who opposed the creation of “children-free zones”. "It has nothing to do with hating children. This is love for children, it is respect for their time," said Agnieszka Grabowska, a supporter of the “zone”.
