We already know the results of the first circular of presidential elections. For many, the consequence achieved by Grzegorz Braun was a surprise. The candidate of the Confederation of the Polish Crown won 6.4 percent of the vote on a national scale, which gave him 4th place. However, in 1 of the regions, the consequence was much higher.


It's about Podhale, where Braun enjoyed two-digit support. He won 12.06 percent of the vote in the Tatra district.

The winner in Podhale was Karol Nawrocki, a candidate supported by the Law and Justice. He achieved 40.02 percent of the votes throughout the region. In Zakopane alone, he won 32.53 percent, ahead of minimally Rafał Trzaskowski, for whom 31.25 percent of residents voted. The turnout in the Tatra territory was 65.7 percent.

In the full country, after counting over 99 percent of the votes, Rafał Trzaskowski became the leader of the first circular with a score of 31.2%. Right behind him was Karol Nawrocki, who obtained 29.3% of his support. The 3rd place was taken by Sławomir Mentzen with a score of 14.9 percent.

In turn, the leader of the Confederation of the Polish Crown Grzegorz Braun obtained 6.4 percent of the support and thus won 4th place. This consequence may have been rather a surprise for citizens and commentators. The reason is controversy related to the Euro MP, specified as the situation in Oleśnica or the usage of a fire extinguisher in the Sejm.

Grzegorz Braun thanked his voters just after announcing the results: – Dear Sirs, God pay cordially to everyone who built this result, due to the fact that I am only moving here, and individual has to do the campaign.

The politician besides announced further steps. – It was measuring and weighing before the fight, which the wide fire-extinguishing front will successfully emergence to the upcoming parliamentary elections – said Grzegorz Braun.
