The State Administration of marketplace Regulations (国家市场监管总局) and the Ministry of Finance (财政部) in 2021 published an order setting the amount of prizes for persons reporting violations in the area of marketplace functioning.

This is mainly about the production and distribution of counterfeit goods, as well as incomplete standards and standards.

At that time 3 levels of awards were established for those providing specified information, i.e. 5%, 3% and 1% of the value of the confiscated products.

These awards may not be lower than 5000 RMB, 3000 RMB and 1000 RMB (PLN 2843, 1705 and 568 respectively).

The maximum amount of the award is RMB 1 million (about PLN 568,000).

The Shanghai authorities agreed on 1 July this year to increase the minimum prizes to the levels of 6000, 4000 and 2000 RMB (i.e. 3413, 2275 and 1138 PLN). The maximum amount of RMB 1 million remains unchanged.

Poor RMB

In the first half of this year, RMB was depreciated. Chinese yuan has already lost more than 5% in relation to the dollar. The weakening of the yuan has been worsening especially since April.

At the moment, the yuan exchange rate against the US dollar remains within 7.2~7.3 RMB for 1 USD.

At the beginning of the year this rate ranged from 6.6 to 6.8 RMB for 1 USD.

According to China National Railway Group corp (中国国家铁路集团有限公司), these trains carried a full of 936 1000 TEUs (TEUs – equivalent to a 20-foot container – contractual unit in transport), giving an increase of 30% y/y.

Chinese freight trains scope 2016 cities in 25 European countries. The loading rate for warehouses travelling from China to Europe is 99%. The average transportation time is 12-18 days depending on the location of the destination.

Over the 12 years of operation, China-Europe has developed into an extended network of connecting lines China not only with Europe, but besides with Asia.

In addition to the lines leading by Russia, Belarus to Germany, large Britain or Spain, there is besides a multimodal line connecting Europe to China through the port of Saint Petersburg, and the confederate thread from China through Kazakhstan to the countries of Central Asia, and from there through the Gulf countries and Turkey to South Europe.

Further rail connections are being launched from China to Iran, Laos, Vietnam or late to Afghanistan.
