July 10, 2024, Ożarów Mazowiecki – the ceremony of unveiling the commemorative plaque dedicated to soldiers of the 7th Jelsk-Jaworzin Division of the 7th Oblast of the Warsaw territory of the AK and the beginning of the “On the Insurrection Assistance of Warsaw”, organized by the IPN Branch in Warsaw together with the Ożarów Mazowiecki Municipality; the exhibition can be viewed until 28 July 2024. 26 July 2024, 3:00 p.m., Hoover's Skwer in Warsaw – presentation of the Polish-English outdoor exhibition “The Heroes among Heroes” prepared by the Warsaw branch of IPN on the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. 1 component of the event will be a street performance of insurgent songs performed by Ferajna band from Hoover.. The exhibition “The Heroes among Heroes” presents extraordinary stories of women who fought with courage and dedication for freedom during the Warsaw Uprising. Through photographs and accounts, we want to pay tribute to their courage and remind the public of their contribution to the past of Poland. Organizers: IPN Branch in Warsaw with the support of the Warsaw Uprising Museum and the Foundation General Elżbieta Zawacka. The exhibition will last until 16 August.
26 July – 2 October 2024, Warsaw – exhibition “Warsaw Insurgents – Krasiński Square” presenting the weapons and equipment of Warsaw Insurgents and concerning the past of 1 of the insurgent barricades, which was located in this place and was immortalized during the Warsaw Insurgency in a photograph taken by a associate of the Grey Privates Zbigniew Grochowski.
