The exhibition “The Heroes among Heroes” presents extraordinary stories of women who fought with courage and dedication for freedom during the Warsaw Uprising. Through photographs and accounts, we want to pay tribute to their courage and remind the public of their contribution to the past of Poland. Organizers: IPN Branch in Warsaw with the support of the Warsaw Uprising Museum and the Foundation General Elżbieta Zawacka. The exhibition will last until 16 August.

26 July – 2 October 2024, Warsaw – exhibition “Warsaw Insurgents – Krasiński Square” presenting the weapons and equipment of Warsaw Insurgents and concerning the past of 1 of the insurgent barricades, which was located in this place and was immortalized during the Warsaw Insurgency in a photograph taken by a associate of the Grey Privates Zbigniew Grochowski.
