8 Kujawsko-Pomorska Territorial Defence Brigade in joint action with the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment from Bolesławca

Prior to the completed polygonal group of Rocket and Artillery Forces (WRiA) p. Mars-25, its exercise episode besides had 8 Kujawsko-Pomorska Territorial Defence Brigade (8 K-PBOT). The group takes place in Toruń, which is the Permanent Division of work (SRO) of the Brigade, which is why the Kuyavian-Pomeranian territories were active in support of the scenario.

Cooperation with the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment

The territorials were liable for securing the unloading of the railway transport of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment (23 pa) from Bolesławca, who arrived at the ground with the equipment. The task was carried out by soldiers of 81th Light Infantry Battalion (81 blp) from Toruń and 82nd blp from Inowrocław.

Their responsibilities included, among others, the preparation and protection of the unloading area, which ensured a safe and efficient transition to further stages of training by sub-chapters 23 pa.

Screenplay reflecting the real tasks of WOT

This episode refers to actual tasks falling within the responsibilities of WOT soldiers. In the event of a threat to the military region, the territorials are responsible, among others, for: securing the march of operational troops by their SROs, maintaining the roadway of the communication routes and supporting activities carried out by the operational divisions.
This was another year of collaboration between 8 K-PBOT soldiers and soldiers of another military units in their SRO.
