58 government priorities

The government announced the presentation of 58 priorities, a circumstantial action plan for the following years. I consciously wrote "pronounced the show" due to the fact that we have not met everyone today.

When I heard that the government would present a list of the most crucial intentions, I thought we would yet have any strategy. Since the beginning of this coalition, I don't like the fact that she's gone. Since she is not here, the average entrepreneur – I will limit myself to this group – does not know where we are going. And if he doesn't, it's hard to have the courage to make investment decisions.

Unfortunately, it shortly turned out that what has been developed is not a strategy, although they surely represent this intention. But we have a worse problem: 58 priorities are already there, only until present – it has been 12 days since the announcement of this plan – we do not know them. So they are, but they stay within the cognition of a narrow group of now ruling politicians and their advisers. What is it? I have no idea. Officially, the government, as 1 of the ministers put it, wonders how to present them to make it the most effective. Aha...

There may be another explanation. most likely connected to the first one. After the apparent collapse with the concept of "100 concretes per 100 days" politicians fear clear announcements. That plan was carried out with absolutely no effect. In particular, it is about these most medial and most influential announcements, specified as an increase of the amount free to PLN 60 thousand. Well, just so there's no embarrassment now, we'll never know the details. And if anything, in specified a way that they cannot be utilized to strike the rulers in another election campaign. But possibly there's another reason.

However, we know the thematic areas, if I may say so. But first of all, nothing new, second of all – however, a large scope of generality.

First, why nothing new? due to the fact that if the precedence is to guarantee the safety of citizens, we know that this must be the precedence of all government in any situation. And as the country faces the challenge of an aggressive policy of a large neighbour or a problem of electricity transmission, which will come seriously in a fewer years, it is known that this must be a precedence squared. Besides, this subject has been rolled around for a long time.

For the record, these 4 areas are: “Safe Poland, safe Poles”, “Innovative and competitive economy”, “A smooth state and a safe quality of public services”, “A modern digital state”. Do we agree with these slogans? Of course! We've been in agreement for years. Or for decades. How many times have we heard about reforms in this area? But it's okay – you can't attack the government for confirming what's crucial and what it wants to do.

Is Popis lost again? Palade: Power blinds and then takes distant reason

The problem is that – as I mentioned earlier – it is much worse with defining these passwords. So what are we expected to judge?

All right, we know something. For example, in terms of the safety of the population, the government is expected to spend only PLN 17 billion next year. The drone labs are to be established in respective military units. The construction of the CPK was besides confirmed – although this is nothing new. We besides learned a small bit more about the concept of a elder voucher. I don’t like a fewer things here; I will take care of it yet, due to the fact that it requires more attention. respective another ideas have come to light. But the full package, the full plan – we don't have.

Of course, I am glad that the government has its 58 specifics. But after what has been presented so far, I can see that in many cases it is simply a small vague for 2 years of activity. I repeat: in my opinion, the government should have a concrete action plan – what will be supported and how and what not – so that the average Polish entrepreneur can effort to find his place in this plan. Or to let him know that his activity is not part of the plan.

Again, we should have a pool of strategical investments supported by all the most crucial political forces. I have written about this many times – a set of top priorities in this area. specified investments that will proceed regardless of political change. Can't Polish politicians truly afford to even get along? This is the Polish state's right. due to the fact that it will depend on the competitiveness of the economy, our position in Europe and in the planet in the future.
