57. The Forges in Nowa Słupia, or Romans vs. Barbarians

Roman legionaries will appear in the Holy Cross Mountains, and the local barbarians will defend Nowa Słupia just like the Gauls defend their village, as seen in the comics about Asterix and Obelix. On August 15, 1 of the oldest Polish outdoor events will begin at the ft of Mount Holy Cross – the 57th Smelting in Nowa Słupia, a three-day festival of history, handicrafts, folklore, and music.
