3rd edition of legislature Blessed Fr Jerzy Popiełuszko 15-16 October

Venerable Priests, Venerable Sisters, Dear Ladies and gentlemen, Dear and Dear,
This year we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the kidnapping, the martyr's death, and then the last earthly farewell of Blessed Priest Jerzy Popieluszko - Patron of NSZZ Solidarity.
With joy in my heart, I would like to confirm that the 3rd edition of the Blessed Fr Jerzy Popieluszko legislature (III KxJ) announced last year will be held on October 15 and 16th (the first day in Bydgoszcz, respectively, and the second day of legislature in Włocławek).
The honorary patronage over the 3rd edition of legislature was taken by His Excellency The Most advanced Priest Bishop Dr. Krzysztof Włodarczyk, Bishop of Bydgoszcz and His Excellency The Most advanced Priest Dr. Krzysztof Wętkowski, Bishop of Włocławski. Both Bishops gave the participants of the Pastoral legislature of Blessing.
We are arrogant that the strategical Partners of the legislature are Fr Jerzy Popieluszko Foundation "Good", the Education and Formation Centre of the Bydgoszcz Diocese of Bł. Bishop Michał Kozal, the Higher Seminary of the Włocławski Diocese in Włocławek, as well as the Bydgoszcz Region and the Toruń-Włocławski Region of NSZZ "Solidarity".
The first day of legislature will be held on October 15th in Bydgoszcz (both in the Education and Formation Centre of the Bydgoszcz Diocese of Poland, blessed Bishop Michał Kozal at 18 Grodzka Street and in the Polish home in Bydgoszcz at 1 Grodzka Street), while the second day of legislature will take place on October 16th in Włocławek (in the Higher Seminary of the Włocławska Diocese in Włocławek named after Blessed Stefan Wyszyński at Stanisław Karnkowski Street).

I besides study that as part of a rich plan of crucial events throughout our Homeland, it is worth knowingly engaging in joining 2 bottom-up initiatives proposed (after extended consultations) by the Passionate spiritually surviving Blessed George.
- I'm sorry. The first is to encourage us to, as part of intergenerational solidarity, jointly refuse the 10 rosary in the intention of souls in the purgatory of suffering - victims of communists.
- I'm sorry. The second bottom-up initiative is the Blessed Fr Jerzy Popieluszko Social Award, which was divided into 3 stages.
On September 25, the first phase of the submission of candidates in categories specified as:
• Labour Pastor, • Dignity, • Freedom, • Ideals of August’80 and • Promotion of Culture.
It is worth noting that 5 days ago or on 25 September this year was the 40th anniversary of the gathering of the communist dignitaries, who then set scenarios of the “silence” of the Priests "acting to the detriment of the state".
The second phase will shortly begin, which will consist of an online vote on winners in individual categories of the Social Award. This process will proceed until 13 October this year, precisely until the 40th anniversary of the "Solidarity" by Patron NSZZ Holy Mass in St. Brigida's church in Gdańsk.
In this way, we will honor the clergy, members and sympathizers of NSZZ ‘S’, community and pastoral services, informal groups, non-governmental organizations, institutions, cooperatives or companies, for their outstanding credibility, integrity and affirmative influence on shaping views and attitudes consistent with the teaching of the Catholic Church and the inheritance of the legendary Priest ‘S’. Most frequently these people do not search popularity and fame, although they are known for their common goodness and sense of humor.
Winners of individual categories will be announced during the gala, which will be held on 16 October in Włocławek, during the second day of the 3rd edition of the legislature of Blessed Jerzy Popiełuszko.
It is besides worth mentioning that on the first day in Bydgoszcz the additional event will be the recital Bartosz Kalinowski (15 October this year at 19:00 in the Polish home in Bydgoszcz), while in Włocławek just before the Gala it is planned to initiate actions for the launch of the Academy of Workers' Property.
