On the list of persons subject to sanctions is 20 names – mainly artists and athletes. Among another things, there are singers Nikita Dżygurd, Igor Sukaczów, Jarosław Dronów, manager of Egor Konczalowski, ballet dancers Sergey Polunina and Nikolay Cyskaridze, or fencing by Sofia Velika.
In the “twenty” announced by the government in Kiev there was besides Yuri Kuklachev – Performing in clown costume 76-year-old circus artist and cat trainer, in 1986 awarded the Order of the People's Artist of the russian Union.

Kuklachev is known for his extreme statements on the war in Ukraine. A year ago, the media spoke about his words calling on Russia to “powerful resistance” for the West and warned that if Europe and the US succeed, “they will shoot us like partridges.”

Under Kuklachev's sanctions, the Russian MFA spokeswoman was hurt. Maria Zacharovawho expressed her rage on social media. “The bloody clown has imposed sanctions on a good and sweet clown, who gives children a generous joy," wrote the diplomat.
A decree issued by Zelenski shall mean the deprivation of any Ukrainian state awards, freezing their assets within the country and preventing the withdrawal of capital. Restrictions were imposed on Chinese companies with high technology and aviation industries: Zhongfu Shenying Carbon fibre Xining, Rui Jin Machinery and Beijing Aviation and Aerospace Xianghui Technology.
During a Thursday press conference in Kiev, Volodymyr Zelenski argued that his interview had obtained information about military support provided by Beijing to Moscow.
