In connection with the 30th anniversary of the publication by Pope John Paul II of the encyclical “Evangelium Vitae” Catholic Information Agency, Centre of Life and household and the Foundation Institute for Legal Culture Ordo Iuris invites to a conference entitled "Evangelium Vitae – inspires and motivates for 30 years". The event will take place March 25 (Tuesday) at 11 a.m. in the Secretariat of the Polish Episcopal Conference in Warsaw.
The conference “Evangelium Vitae – inspires and motivates for 30 years” will be held on the Day of the Feast of Life and the day after the National Day of Life. The date besides relates to the 30th anniversary of Pope John Paul II's announcement of the encyclical "Evangelium Vitae".
During the event, fresh publications on the subject of the protection of human life will be presented – a monograph devoted to euthanasia, a guide to doctors on the anticipation of utilizing the opposition of conscience, a survey on alleged "fame therapy" and a fresh edition of "Compendium prolife". The discussion will besides address initiatives aimed at reminding the public of papal teaching on matters of the protection of life and family, specified as the National Papal March.
