Ladies and gentlemen,
Sunday, August 30th this year, at 6:00 p.m. at the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Queen of Families in Deans of the Forest, the celebration of the Holy Mass for the Fatherland will be celebrated and on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the death of the orderly Danuta Kodkówny ps. “Inka”. The ceremony will take place with the participation of the banner mails, after Mass there will be the laying of wreaths under the memorial plaque with the image of Inka's heart and an exhibition dedicated to her life and activities will be opened.

On 3 August 1946, the under 18-year-old Danuta Środkówna "Inka", an orderly of the 5th Vilnius AK Brigade, was sentenced to death by the Military territory Court in Gdańsk.
Prosecutor Wacław Krzyżanowski included in the indictment the allegations of the engagement of Kodkówna in the armed union, aimed at overthrowing the power of the folk power and killing militias and soldiers of the interior safety Corps, including urging 2 UB officers to shoot during the action of the “Iron” squadron in Tulice close Sztum.
The communist crime was approved by the “court” composed of Major Adam Gajewski, pre-war lawyer and Lieutenant Wacław Machola and Captain Kazimierz Nizio-Narski. The conviction was executed on 28 August 1946. Together with “Inka”, Lieutenant Felix Selmanowicz, “Zagończyk”, deputy commander of the 5th Vilnius Brigade of the AK Major “Łupaszki”.
Because the soldiers of the interior safety Corps - members of the ten-man firing squad shot into the air, “Inka” and “Zagończyk” were killed by the commander of the firing squad by Lieutenant Francis Sawicki of Gdańsk CBW.
In a flu sent from the prison, Danusia Kodkówna wrote, “Tell my grandma that I behaved properly.”
