How many years has universal education been available in Poland? Contrary to what the peer propaganda preached, the breakthrough was not the end of planet War II. Access to primary school was common and compulsory already in the 1930s, that is, for 90 years (for 3 generations, as anyone would like). Meanwhile, present I read in Newsweek the following:
"The reason for the oral matriculation from Polish is increasingly asked present not only by seniors. Teachers besides believe that the exam does not substance — mainly due to the fact that its consequence does not number in recruiting most of the courses. But without an oral hearing, there's a elder amendment waiting. “I’m just wasting my time and my nerves, and that won’t do me any good,” says Sylvia from a tiny town in Wielkopolska.”
After all these years of compulsory learning, inactive voices that she's no usage to anything, are popular adequate to print tabloids. They are heard not only among students like Sylvia, but besides among teachers, which makes me ashamed. Really? There are teachers who think they're teaching a mediocre exam to lower the chances of getting into college, and a good 1 picks it up? Holy shit! And this is erstwhile we talk about Polish?
I'm far from assed by the claims that in the past, people were educated, due to the fact that all you gotta do is look at the PiS flower to remember that matolism is not something new. Nevertheless, it may be a small embarrassing that even university graduates inactive have problem reading with understanding, justification, or reasoning. The specified writing of a CV and a letter of motivation can go beyond the possibilities of any citizens, and in interviews they can even warrant themselves a deficiency of success. It would be much easier for them to gain skills to pass an oral exam from Polish without much fear. Education is for students, not so that the teacher can aid or harm them by his decision. It's truly weak erstwhile individual who's expected to pass on cognition comes to that.
Perfect – Why
I gave a simple example, for which the oral exam from Polish is useful, but it does not end there. possibly I think a small naively that a book, film, theatre, or poesy develops empathy, ethics skills, and most of all they teach that life has different shades of grayness and sometimes it is hard to see the situation black and white. But if teachers don't know about it, how can students know?!
