The event was gathered by a wide group of participants, including many delegations, among which the presence of representatives of the east European Studies of the University of Warsaw (SEW), for many years co-organiser of meetings.
The conference included a number of discussion panels on key issues of modern global policy. The main subject was political reforms, Ukraine's accession to the European Union and NATO and Poland's experience in this area. Much attention was besides paid to the current challenges arising from Russian aggression and the ongoing war in Ukraine. Analysts shared the conclusions of Polish transformation and accession to global structures, indicating possible paths for Ukraine. The SEW delegation made a crucial contribution to the discussion panels, participants could benefit from the rich cognition of SEW experts – Jan Malicki, Dr. Adam Eberhardt and Colonel Tadeusz Kruszist,
The conference besides featured the promotion of publications of the survey of east Europe, which was presented at a specially prepared stand. In addition, participants could see a photograph exhibition entitled "Głowów Brothers Artists and Soldiers from Jaremcza", which revealed the past of artists and military artists coming from the region. The authors of the exhibition are: prof. dr hab. Elżbieta Barbara Zybert and Colonel Tadeusz Krzęstek. The exhibition was performed courtesy of the manager of the Museum of the University of Warsaw Dr. Hubert Kowalski.
One of the most crucial points of the program was the video conference with the erstwhile president of Poland – Aleksandr Kwasniewski, who shared his experiences and reflections on Poland's political transformation and its integration with NATO and the European Union. His speech attracted large interest and became the starting point for further discussion.
In addition to intense political debates, the conference participants had the chance to spend time in a more informal way. Together with the Rector of the National University of Przykarpackie, Vasily Stefanyk – Ihor Tsependa, they had the chance to take a journey to the picturesque summit of Pop Ivan, where participants could not only admire the views, but besides establish closer relations.
The Polish-Ukrainian meetings in Jaremcz were successful, gathering a large audience and stimulating a lively discussion about the future of Ukraine in the European Union and NATO. Meetings of this kind play a key function in building cooperation and exchanging experiences between Poland and Ukraine, especially in the face of Ukraine's ongoing war and efforts to join Western structures.
