Today there are many updates from the direction of Kharkiv

Here Ukrainians changed the course of the conflict of Volchansk after successfully regaining control of powerful Russian positions in the local aggregate plant, any of the most crucial positions throughout the city
This improvement led to a gradual collapse of defence and logistical support, exposing Russian forces to a serious hazard of full displacement from Volchansk.

After almost 5 months of intense fighting, Volchansk became 1 of the most destroyed cities in Ukraine, with most of the harm concentrated in its northern part.
This extended devastation is crucial for the ongoing conflict due to the fact that it prevents Russian troops from hiding and gathering forces in this area.

North Volchansk has 2 key fortresses: the advanced Citadel and the aggregate plant.
The Citadel was severely damaged, leaving most of the buildings in ruins and not fit to position troops either by Russians or Ukrainians.
In addition, many surrounding smaller residential buildings have been destroyed or no longer suitable for military use.

As a result, the only fortified fortress in northern Volchansk remained the aggregate plant
Its buildings remained in place thanks to the strong construction
Although the area was under Russian control, the position of the plant as 1 of the fewer suitable fortifications made it easier for Ukrainian forces to find the concentration of Russian troops.
This led to prolonged Ukrainian raids and artillery shellings, which intensified erstwhile Russian forces in the plant were completely surrounded and cut off from almost all support.

Ukrainian command chose not to attack the mill directly, but alternatively tried to deprive the Russian garrison of ammunition and food while constantly attacking their positions to maximize losses.
This tragic situation forced Russian soldiers to search food, medical assistance and water due to the fact that they had no another means of supply.
Additionally, Russian troops outside the mill attempted to supply supplies with drones, which was the only reason the besieged forces managed to hold on for so long.

This enabled the Ukrainians to exploit the collapse of the Russian defence of the plant and yet take over after the Russian defence and the persisting troops were destroyed after months of intense bombing and shelling.
With the plant under Ukrainian control, they could now regain the initiative in the Volchansk region.

Since the aggregate plant in Volchansk is the only remaining fortification complex in the city, Ukrainians can establish effective fire control over northern Volchansk.
With control over advanced buildings, Ukrainian forces can monitor all Russian movements in the area, allowing accurate location data to be transmitted to artillery, aviation and drone operators to carry out attacks.

As a result, Russian positions north of the aggregate plant and east of the presently destroyed The Citadels became totally indefensible due to Ukrainian fire control from the plant.
This fire control enabled Ukrainian forces to intensify counterattacks, rapidly moving Russians a fewer streets south and east of the bag.

With positions inside Volchansk almost indefensible to Russian forces, Russian command was forced to keep most of its troops in the forests north of the city, leaving only a smaller contingent in the city.
While these forces are little exposed to Ukrainian fire outside the city, falling autumn leaves reduce their cover, making it easier for Ukrainians to usage termite drones against their positions.
The movie shows Russian troops rapidly threatened by Ukrainian artillery in the forests shortly after detection, distracting them and preventing further attacks by troops in Volchansk.

In general, the Ukrainians successfully recovered the only standing fortress in Volchansk after a long siege and effectively forced Russian troops to retreat most of their forces outside the city
