Today the most interesting events take place in the direction of Kursk

The Ukrainian forces started a bold flanking maneuver here, breaking the Russian defence and putting all the Russian impact force on the edge of the lap
This bold maneuver can completely neutralize the Russian counteroffensive and give Ukraine the eventual advantage in this region.

According to fresh reports, the Russians took control of Snagost and restored ground lines of communication with Gluszkow's pocket; however, to cut the Russians off from land, Ukrainians kept the road under close fire control with FPV drones.

The Russians knew that in order to destruct the threat of another attack by Ukrainians and re-cut their pockets, they had to push Ukrainian forces further west.
Russian military sources reported they started a series of infantry attacks on Biachowo, Wnezapne and Gordijevka and captured these smaller settlements.
The Russians began a mechanized attack on the settlement of Liubimovka, a somewhat larger settlement which the Ukrainians can usage as a starting point for future offensive actions.
Taking control of Liubimovka would let Russians to cut off the Sudzha-Korenevo road and cut and wing Ukrainian positions further north.

Ukrainians study that the Russians launched an attack utilizing 2 tanks, eleven combat BMD infantry vehicles and 1 armored transporter.

Interestingly, BMD-2 vehicles, which the Russians utilized for the attack, belong to the Russian WDW Air Desert Infantry units.
This, along with reports from the Institute of War Studies stating that the Russians have moved respective Marine Battalions, indicates that the Russians have moved more combative units to carry out these attacks
Most another Russian units along the Kursk front line are either conscripts, volunteers from Donbas, police, or even only guards of military facilities.
This means that the Russians are not yet able to launch a full counteroffensive, but they must trust on smaller tactical operations of these better trained naval and aerial battalions to force the Ukrainians to retreat from their territorial conquests.

This allowed Ukrainians to repel Russian attacks in the south and destruct Russian attack towards Liubimova.
In the south, the Russians were besides able to attack themselves from the highlands, and the defence of the settlements here would only lead to unnecessary losses, which is why the Ukrainians withdrew.
The Institute for War Studies besides stated that the Russians only gained weaker Ukrainian positions on the lowlands, but experienced much greater difficulties with penetration deeper, as the Ukrainians held stronger positions in the further part of the sack of Kursk.

The Ukrainians besides continued the offensive operation in the Gloszkowo salinta, moving further west and capturing the border settlements of Volfino and Krasnooktriabski.
