12th Brigade prepares another shift to Lebanon

Soldiers of the 12th Brigade have gained valuable experience during abroad missions in Iraq and Afghanistan over the years. As of 2019, they besides participate in the mission in Lebanon, for which they are now preparing the 13th change of the Polish military contingent UNIFIL.

Another group of Polish and Hungarian soldiers are trained to form another shift to the mission in this unstable region of the world. Soldiers usually have 6 months to prepare properly, but during intensive classes this time passes very quickly. In the run-up to the mission area, emphasis is placed primarily on weapon training and various tactical activities.

Currently, soldiers are perfecting their actions according to certain procedures, including patrolling on ft and utilizing wheeled armored transporters Rosomak, carrying out shootings, practicing evacuation of wounded, establishing communication or maintaining advanced physical performance.

They will shortly undergo the certification of the quota, which is simply a comprehensive examination of how the quota is prepared to carry out tasks in the mission area.
