08.02.2023. The planet through the eyes of Cunk

Philomena Cunk, and in fact Diane Morgan, a British comedy actress, author and tv presenter thanks to Netflix (in collaboration with the BBC) and a specifically featured documentary series "The planet with the Eyes of Cunk" fascinated me enormously and frightened me at the same time. I looked with admiration and astonishment, due to the fact that it's truly an first story.

I love the English sense of humor; I envy their very distance, the perfection of the paradox, the amazing point, but present it is not known whether to laughter or cry. Philomena Cunk is not just today's female form of Monty Python Circus but of the 19th – eternal "everyman", a contemporary form of "everyone" from medieval moralitet. This is our portrait, surviving not in a universal hierarchical space but in a global planet with a prefix of "pop" dominated by a hetero-patriarchal, government-owned power and money strategy (which Cunk constantly reminds of) where freedom comes down to being a fool, due to the fact that they are liable for everything that we learned not to trust and cool... you may not realize processes or realize them improperly, comfortable for yourself. That's very correct.

I request you to watch this fresh Netflix show. 5 fascinating episodes. Different from all the shows. Pump up the jam, pum it up... Make my day.

“This is simply a communicative about the planet we live in...” – Philomena recommends her journey through the past of humanity and our civilisation by asking unobvious, amazing questions, which first laugh, provoke and surprise but after a while they cease to be "unobvious" due to the fact that they attest to a deep analysis of modernity. It seems to be a string of simplifications and echoes of contemporary fashion and poptrends in the sauce of consumerism, utmost individualism and infantilism, and in fact... No, you gotta watch it and be surprised. Let me just say this: for me, this is simply a alternatively sketchy, consciously scandalous and threatening image of millions of contemporary consciousness than the movie version of Harari's bestseller "Sapiens" about 10 years after the publication of this book (21 million copies sold in 65 countries).

From interviews and Philomena's communicative for any bitter irony for others the sincerity and naivety of aged children explodes like champagne from a spectacularly opened bottle. Confronted with specified questions, personalized by leading “most” defenceless against well played ignorance Cunk carefully selected scientists and specialists from various disciplines – “minority” – do their best to hide their embarrassment and weakness, due to the fact that they most likely realize that this is not just a joke. The everyday, everyday individual experience of the alleged average man is so far from their comparatively orderly, rational world. Although they effort to talk, do not want to offend, they are to pain “correct” it is very hard to realize each other. Although consciously graphed it is in full a very real image of a reality that storms delusions. In the form of a real threat, we remember him from the time of the pandemic, the attack on Capitol, exorcism, sects, wars, and another examples of collective or individual ignorance. It's nothing new, it's deep inside us and it's constantly developing, which it's trying to tell in its communicative and show Cunk.
