We can't get out of the depressing loop of martyrdom for over 200 years and still, alternatively of looking for affirmative connotations, we scope for pain and suffering to express our feelings. It's sad and highly destructive. Apart from the discomfort of the inhabitants flowing from the address "Victims of Russian Aggression" or dating in Krakow at the roundabout "Victim Katynia" or the square "Inmates of the Camp of Extermination" (in 1 of the most beautiful quarters of the city) I would draw attention to the peculiar property of Polish mentality, which, wishing to express its emotions, tends to scope for resources from its tragic history, forgetting as if everything else; positive, joyful, victorious. Why the name "Free Ukraine Avenue" or "Solidarity Avenue with Free Ukraine" in Warsaw The rides didn't come to anyone's mind, and how did she get in? The political and symbolic dimension of specified a name close the Russian embassy would be similar, although specified gestures do not all respond, but as others we cannot afford... I am reasoning of the "contribution" of Macerewicz and the Law and Justice at the last session of the Sejm (02.12.) preventing the adoption of a position of parliament recognising Russia as a country supporting terrorism.
Examples can be multiplied. The naming of streets, squares, lately a roundabout (which in itself raises many doubts) is an external symptom of serious collective and individual intellectual disorder. People are consciously squeezed in like a kid in the belly, a syndrome of eternal sacrifice, suffering and pain, and there is simply a voice about the tradition and the request to conduct an appropriate "historical policy" (example of multiplying the commemoration of the presidential couple after its tragic death as a consequence of an air crash a more compromising state than "heroic" is simply a depressing proof) forgetting on the occasion what unwanted consequences this might have: indifference, superficiality, everyday life and most importantly, put aside and accumulated sense of defeat. I am not a scientist (I read only this and I passed the required exam) but I am convinced that professionals in this field would compose in my spirit more and better, which means specified alternatively than another choices.
