It is our inactiveness and our escape from reasoning in terms of origin and effect that allows for the taking over of power in the countries of the empty words about the "special" function of tradition, religion, endangered nations and values that can only "defend" them. And erstwhile they have power, they just want to keep it at all costs and grow it.
In the fall of 2023, we are facing elections. We know that they will neither be equal nor democratic. Kaczyński and PiS will usage without any scruples all the power of the state, its institutions, money, opportunities to disdain, to quarrel, to exclude political competitors. They will lie, pay traitors and spies, propaganda and haters, bribe elected groups of voters, antagonize people, set any against others. They will usage unlimited public money, owned and subordinated media parties, services, prosecutors. They will change how they changed and broke the law according to their wishes to service their political purposes. That's all we know due to the fact that it's been happening for 7 years. They will do everything to keep power, due to the fact that they first question the democratic system, which assumes unconditional, rule-based succession of power and, in addition, are mastered by the irrational belief that only they are right and want to hold impunity at all costs, which only guarantees them further exercise of uncontrollable power in the state.
We know all this (or should know) but it does not rise any peculiar interest among most people (it is not our business, we – the subjects do not have much to say anyway so let us not look up and do "your own" – make money, spend, drink and eat, respect and respect who we want) and among those who, at their own request, undertake to represent our interests, leaders of opposition parties, facts do not encourage rational reasoning and drawing conclusions from the experiences and surrounding reality. Their ability to misunderstanding and make constantly the same mistakes until it amazes and gives real concern about their competence to govern and deal with public affairs. Even though they know, they say that elections will not be equal and democratic are incapable to join forces, to make a common list, even though they effort to make a real fight and win unquestionably, convincingly adequate in this unequal game.
